Following the success of our first mini-festival last year… Ridgefest returns!

Set amongst the vines with panoramic views of the beautiful Sussex countryside and South Downs beyond, this unique location offers you the perfect backdrop to a day of live music, delicious street food and of course, your favourite English Sparkling Wine.

We have a limited amount of early-bird tickets available at £20 per adult. This of course includes a glass of Ridgeview on arrival and new for this year, take home your own Ridgefest branded flute!

PARKING AND TRANSPORTATION

We would advise that you travel by public transport where possible or book a Ridgeview coach ticket from either central Brighton or Burgess Hill train station and we’ll make sure that you get safely to and from the event – stress free! See tickets for pricing information.

Our nearest train station is Burgess Hill, which is on the main London to Brighton train line. Burgess Hill station is only 5 mins from the winery by taxi. Car parking at Ridgeview is EXTREMELY limited and all parking tickets MUST be reserved in advance. If you do not have a parking ticket, you will not be able to park on site and will be turned away. Parking tickets are free to reserve, but numbers are limited.

FAQ’S

Are children welcome? Is there anything for children to do?

Children are more than welcome to attend Ridgefest, however we are a working vineyard and winery, as such children are not allowed on the tours of the estate. We will have a kids silent disco channel and some fun giant outdoor games however this is the extent of the provided entertainment.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

We will be operating a "Challenge 21" policy, so bear in mind that you may require ID for this reason.

Do you accept credit/debit cards?

Ridgeview accept all major card types; however we cannot guarantee that our street food vendors will. For this reason, we recommend you bring enough cash for your food. You will be able to use cards for our event bar and all wine purchases from cellar door.

Can I bring my dog?

No, we can only accommodate guide or accessibility dogs.

Are you wheelchair / pram friendly?

We welcome wheelchair users / families with prams and we do all we can to ensure comfort and safety for wheelchair/pram users. Please let us know if you require parking as close to the event site as possible; this is on grass, so in bad weather things can get a bit muddy.

We have an accessible toilet in the main winery building and wheelchairs/prams can navigate around the vineyard on paths.

Do you cater for dietary requirements?

We always try to ensure that we offer a great variety of foods at each event. Our lovely traders have lots of delicious treats for you and will be more than happy to talk to you about ingredients and help with any dietary queries.

Can I bring my own food?

No. We have fantastic food and drink available so please leave your picnic at home and give our vendors a whirl. You might even discover something new!

 Can I bring alcohol?

No, due to licensing law this is strictly prohibited. There is a well-stocked bar on site providing both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. If anyone is found to be bringing in alcohol, they will be escorted off the premises and no refund will be given.

How do I find accommodation nearby?

We don't offer on-site accommodation, however we would highly recommend the following local lodgings: South Lodge (Lower Beeding), The Bull (Ditchling), Hotel Du Vin (Brighton), The Ginger Pig (Hove) and Ockenden Manor (Cuckfield).

What will happen in the event of bad weather?

Refunds will only be provided should the event be cancelled by Ridgeview due to extreme weather conditions making the site unsafe.

Is there a refund policy?

Refunds will be accepted up to seven (7) days prior to the event.
