Alex Trebek Lecture Series: Igniting a New Renaissance

7:30 p.m. | Shaw Centre, Canada Hall 3, 55 Colonel By Drive | $20

The climate crisis. Spiraling inequality. Technologies spreading farther and faster than our wisdom for handling them. Can we cope with such pressures within current paradigms? Or are the paradigms themselves reaching an exhaustion point? In a sweeping interdisciplinary lecture that trespasses into history, philosophy, politics, economics and science, Chris Kutarna lays out the historic stakes of the time we live in, and points a path toward a different and more beautiful future.

*Presentation in English. Simultaneous interpretation headphones available upon request.
