Spring has sprung!
The Home Depot Backyard is launching its inaugural programming season in an EXTREME way! Join us Saturday, April 13th, for our first-ever Spring Extreme event. This FREE, family-oriented event for residents and visitors alike will provide interactive showcases and hands-on activities, focused on Arts & Culture, Health & Wellness and Inspired Learning.
Whether you stop by for boot camp with Orangetheory Fitness or get a chance to enjoy a DIY workshop with The Home Depot, the fun is endless. Extreme thrills more your speed? Check out the ninja tower, obstacle course or zip lines. Better yet, try them all! We can guarantee there’s something for everyone, including food trucks, live performances and so much more!
11:00am - Lawns Open + Food Available
11:30am – Activity Kickoff (Detailed lineup to be announced soon – see additional activities below)
3:30pm – Cool Down + Wrap-Up
4:00pm – Lawns Closed
Food and drinks will be available for purchase from some of our favorite local partners. Additional activities to include Painting on the Green, self-defense workshops, urban gardening demo, cultural dance performances, live music, sports stations, fitness classes, face painting and even a STEM showcase (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.)
Must have a ticket to enter. Alcohol is prohibited.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Come one, come all! No IDs needed.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Getting to The Home Depot Backyard is simple.

Need a ride? Lyft is a great rideshare resource that can drop you off just outside the stadium doors, near The Home Depot Backyard. Enter our address as your destination or location (if departing) and you should be all set.

Taking MARTA? Take the Blue or Green lines to Vine City Station. Exit the train and head up the escalator towards Mercedes-Benz Stadium. We're just next door on Northside Drive, near GWCC Building C.

Driving? No worries, you can park across the street in the Mercedes-Benz Lot or in a nearby lot on campus. Visit https://parking.mercedesbenzstadium.com/ for more information.
What can I bring into the event?
A comfortable outfit and shoes are all you should need! Bring a smile along with your friends and family to participate in our fitness activities. We’ll have bistro tables and chairs too should you want to snag a seat while you eat or take a load off after your workout. You can also bring your own blanket or lawns chairs as well.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
You'll need your ticket to enter, but it doesn't have to be printed. Mobile tickets will be permitted for entry.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
Absolutely! If you need to claim tickets for the entire family or want to give a ticket to your neighbor, that works for us.
