Karlene Karst, BSc Nutrition is a leading authority in natural health and wellness. She is the founder of the award-winning brand Sea-licious® Omega-3 oils and has published numerous health books. Karlene is an upbeat, well-informed sought-after TV personality and spokesperson appearing on the cover of magazines and TV shows including The Marilyn Denis Show, CTV Morning Live, Global Morning News, and Breakfast TV. Karlene is an enthusiastic recipe and food innovator who inspires with her belief in real, whole food as she feeds her busy family of five. 


Kate Rhéaume, ND is an author, graduate, and former faculty member of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Kate lectures internationally on many topics related to health and wellness and is a frequent guest on radio and television across North America. FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
No, however, the topics on the schedule are targeted women and their health and wellbeing. The information provided could be relevant to all females ranging in age from older teens through postmenopause. 

 

What parking/transit options are available?
Parking: There is a free parking lot available at the Italian Cultural Centre and street parking is available for free in the neighbourhood nearby. However, there is a popular restaurant on site and the area is generally quite busy. Please arrive early to make sure you can find a place to park. Doors open at 6:00 pm.
Transit: The Italian Cultural Centre is a 5-minute walk from Renfrew Station on the Millenium Skytrain Line. 


What time should I arrive?
The doors to the event open at 6:00 pm. Please arrive early to ensure you can find parking and a seat during the lectures.


Do I have to bring my ticket (printed or on mobile) to the event?
Yes – we will be checking attendees in at the registration desk. Printed tickets or e-tickets on your mobile device will suffice for gaining free entrance to the lecture.
