Wednesday meet & greet, campsite opens 12pm
Arena opens at 6pm and closes 11.30pm
If you are planning to camp why not join us a day early on Wednesday? Come along and meet new friends or reunite with those you met last year.
The campsite will open at 12.00pm and arena open from 6.00pm. Highlights for this evening include Morris Dancers and sing-around’s plus a barbeque around the bar/workshop marquee area,
Thursday arena opens at 10am and closes 11.30pm
Thursday will be a full day centred around the bar fringe marquee with sing-around’s, and local bands
Friday/Saturday/Sunday arena opens at 10am and closes 11.30pm
Three days full of music from the main stage, and workshops from the new Fringe marquee
ON-SITE FACILITIES
Situated on our own farm, facilities are provided for on-site camping, motor-homes and caravans at £8 per night per pitch, please note there is running water but no showers or electrical hookups.
Parking for non-campers is free and well-trained dogs are also welcome, as are the plastic bags that accompany them!!
Breakfasts will be available from the chicken coop breakfast bar from 8am - 10 and home cooked food will be served from our cafe from 11.00am to 22.00pm each day
Our bar is open from 11.00am - 23.30 pm each day.
Already labelled as one of the friendliest of festivals we intend to keep that image with home-cooking, additional food stands, local crafts-folk and much more.
WHERE IT IS, PARKING AND TRANSPORT
Q. Where is it?
A. On the A36 between Salisbury and Southampton, 6 miles from Romsey
Q. What time do the gates open?
A. Daily at 10.00 am with performances starting at mid-day
Q. Are there any parking facilities?
A. Yes, parking is free with access from Sherfield English Road
Q. Where is the nearest railway station?
A. The nearest station is Romsey
WHAT CAN I BRING?
Q. Are children welcome?
A. Yes and we have a little children’s entertainment area where accompanied children can have some fun
Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: Yes, dogs are welcome except in the eating areas and they must be kept on a lead at all times.
Q. Can I bring foldup chairs, wind breaks or gazebos?
A. Fold up chairs are allowed but wind shields or gazebos cannot be brought into the festival arena. And don’t forget your flags!
Q. Can I bring alcohol?
A. In line with our police conditions on our licensing application this now includes the supply of alcohol for consumption both on and off the premises. This new condition allows alcohol bought within the license area (arena) to be taken outside the arena but within the parameters of the farm such as the woodland fringe and camping areas.
To be clear we can allow alcohol to be taken out of the arena (licensed area) but security will stop alcohol leaving the site (farm). We will continue to stop alcohol from being brought into the licensed area (arena) from anywhere on the farm such as the woodland fringe and the campsites. If you leave the arena with alcohol, please drink up before you re-enter the arena as it will be taken from you.
There is a Challenge 25 policy operating at the bar so if you’re lucky enough to look under 25 please bring your passport, photo card driving licence or ‘PASS’ ID with you.
Q. Can I bring glass into the arena?
A. Glass is not allowed in the arena
CAMPING
Q. When is the site open/closed?
A From noon on Wednesday until noon on Monday.
Q. Can I park my car next to my tent?
A. Yes
Q. Are there toilet facilities (including disabled facilities) on the camp site?
A. Yes
Q. Can I have a barbeque or fire at the camp site?
A. Open fires, sky lanterns, flares and burning lamps are not permitted.
Any dangerous equipment will be condemned by the festival safety team and may be confiscated.
Q. Is there a water supply on the campsite?
A. Yes
DISABLED
Q. What about disabled facilities?
A. For those that are not camping there is a disabled parking area adjacent to the festival entrance. On arrival please let the stewards know that you are disabled and they will direct you to the parking area.
Q. How accessible is the site for the disabled?
A. All access. Disabled toilet facilities are available for the festival and disabled campers will be situated close to disabled toilets on the campsite.
Q. Is there a separate viewing area for the disabled?
A. No
