The Taco Showdown presented by El Jimador is a gathering of all things Tacos. This year’s Taco Showdown will offfer taco lovers the opportunity to enjoy tacos from 15+ of the best taquerias and restaurants in Michigan.
Each ticket includes (3) taco and (5) margherita samples. More tacos (tickets at $2 per) and drinks will also be available for purchase at our fully stocked bar. Entertainment provided by one of Detroit’s Top DJs. Luchadores (Mexican Wrestlers) and Mexican Dancers will also be on hand as well a full photo booth provided by 313PhotoBooth for a memorable keepsake. Don't forget to also take a look at the 12+ merchants offerings while enjoying your favorite taco along with some great interactive games to enjoy!
We've added a Margharita Mix-off (Sponosored by El Jimador) which is included in the ticket price to sample up to 5 different magharitas and vote for your favorite. Voting will end at 5:00pm so be sure to arrive accordingly.
NEW: We have increased the size of the footprint and will be limiting ticket sales plus we are bringing Top Chef Mexico 2016 Winner (Rodolfo Castellanos) from Oaxaca, Mexico to be the head judge of the Showdown. Additionally, we added an extra hour to VIP Experience (12-2pm) with General Admission starting at 2pm. We will have Mexican Dancers this year, Video Wall, and more.
