The UK Seafood Summit, annually organised by Seafish, brings together a panel of respected speakers and delegates to discuss and debate the burning issues in the global seafood industry.
Seafish are once again bringing together the seafood industry to debate and discuss the topics of the day to highlight the Seafish vision that Seafood is the Way Forward. The theme this year is The Responsible Seafood Economy: Looking Forward, Responding to Change. It will focus on supplies, demands and operations.
Previously known as the Humber Seafood Summit, the event draws interest from key players in the seafood industry including processors, distributors, foodservice and retail operators and it is open to all businesses and organisations with an interest in seafood.
The event returns to the DoubleTree by Hilton Forest Pines Hotel and Golf Resort in North Lincolnshire.
As with previous years, the Seafood Fayre takes place the evening before the Summit showcasing local food producers and we have introduced an additional seminar on the day before the main summit to open the discussion on key topics in the seafood industry, which will be run by the Young Seafood Leaders Network and explore demands and the shifting interests of the consumer.
Registration is on a first come first served basis, and due to last year's successful event, we were over-subscribed early, so please register as soon as you can to avoid disappointment.
If you are interested in being considered as a speaker at our event, or to have a display stand during the event, please contact the organisers on ukseafoodsummit@seafish.co.uk
