Meeting Agenda
Meet our NLA Chief Executive Officer, Richard Lambert
It is safe to say these are rapidly changing and increasingly challenging times for Private Landlords and especially so in Birmingham. In addition to the recent announcement that the Government intends to abolish the Section 21 Possession process, landlords are also coming to terms with major changes to their business as a result of the Tenant Fees Act 2019 and the ever progressing Section 24 taxation impact. So, who better to try and put all this in perspective than Richard Lambert NLA CEO. He will talk about ongoing discussions with central government plus his take on the future for Private Landlords. At the end of his presentation, Richard will be pleased to take questions.
Local Authority Update
Matt Smith, Principal Housing Enforcement Officer, Birmingham City Council.
Matt will give an update on local matters within the council with particular emphasis on progress with the Homelessness Challenge and partnerships with local private landlords.
News and Legislation Update for Landlords & Letting Agents
