Welcome to the 2019 Burrow Run presented by Brooks. This year we will be running an 18-mile route starting at JackRabbit Columbus Circle and finishing at JackRabbit Union Square. The route will have 3 pit stops, JackRabbit 3r Ave, Mile 9 (Kent Ave), and JackRabbit Brooklyn (Mile 13). Each of these rest stops will be supported with refreshments from Gatorade and Honey Stinger. Both JackRabbit rest stops will have restrooms. .
This year we will have 4 pace groups, and each group will have a minimum of 2 pacers. Maps will be handed out at the start as well as turn by turn directions. You can also find the course preview here: https://www.strava.com/routes/10486686
What's new this year:
- At Mile 1 (JackRabbit Upper West Side), there will be a photo contest for best race face *details will be shared at the start of the run.
- Pre-run nutrition and refreshments will be provided at the start
Bag drop will be provided from the start (JackRabbit Columbus Circle) to the finish (JackRabbit Union Square), please pack light.
*Please note, only the doors on 60th & Broadway will be open before 7am at Columbus Circle. After 7am, all doors will be open*
When registering for this event, please choose the pace group you feel the most comfortable running with.
Start Times:
- 11min/mile pace group: 7am start
- 10 min/mile pace group: 7:15am start
- 9 min/mile pace group: 7:30am start
- 8 min/mile pace group: 745am start
*please plan to arrive 15 min before your start time, course briefing with your pacer will begin 5min before your start*
