MSF On the Road: A Voice from the Field is a special traveling speaker series that explores the mission of Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) and discusses the challenges of bringing life-saving medical care where it's needed most.
This event will feature mental health officer Karen Stewart, who will share her experiences from 11 assignments with MSF.
Please join us for this unique, in-person opportunity to engage with MSF in your community.
Light refreshments will be served.
Doors open at 6:00pm.
Presentation begins at 6:30pm.
Reception follows at 7:30pm.

1. Do I need a ticket?
There are NO tickets for this event. Simply check in at our registration table when you arrive.
2. May I bring a guest?
Absolutely! Just be sure to register for yourself and all guests. Your guests can also register directly at doctorswithoutborders.org/ontheroad.
3. Where do I park?
There are several parking garages near The Sofia, including the Sutter Community Garage located in the alley of The Sofia. The entrance to the Sutter Community Garage is located on 28th Street between Capitol Avenue and N Street. When entering the garage, you will insert a credit or debit card. NO ticket or receipt will be printed. When leaving the garage, you will insert your card again and you'll receive a receipt. If you need to drop off or pick up a guest at The Sofia, please use the 6-car white zone directly in front of the theatre on Capitol Avenue between 27th and 28th Streets. We also encourage use of public transportation where possible.
4. Is the venue accessible?
Wheelchair accessible seating and stair-free accessible seating are available in The Sofia's Sutter Theatre. A complimentary wheelchair is available upon request. Complimentary assistive listening devices are also available upon request.
