When it comes to sport Rochdale isn't afraid to be different.
Rochdale Football Club famously spent 36 consecutive seasons playing in the bottom tier of the English league but remain proudly debt-free after 112 years - unlike many of their illustrious rivals.
They may not have a rich benefactor to bankroll the club but their academy is the third most successful in the country in the last six years.
Rochdale Hornets launched in 1871 and are proud founder members of the Northern Union in 1895.
They are committed to unearthing the region's best young rugby league players - both male and female.
Rochdale Football Club and Rochdale Hornets have no shortage of ambitions and are proud to be different.
Rochdale Ambassadors latest event will hear from Rochdale AFC's chief executive David Bottomley; their UEFA B football coach Siobhan McElhinny; and Rochdale Hornets' CEO Steve Kerr.
