Learn some of the tips and tricks of great cooks in our professional demonstration kitchen.
Paul Mercurio, famously known for his role in Strictly Ballroom, is a loved Australian actor, dancer, TV presenter and foodie.
Paul will take us through his culinary journey and tempt us with inspiring dishes that everyone can make, from creative barbequing to delicious simple meals for one, as well as some not too serious seafood dishes. You’ll love Paul’s friendly and engaging approach to cooking.
Other demonstrations include accredited dietitian Simone Mastronardo whose mission is to empower people to discover a way of eating that is both enjoyable and nutritious. With a passion for working in the areas of gut health and management of Type 2 Diabetes, Simone will be demonstrating how to cook simple, vibrant food that is low GI and diabetes-friendly.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
To ensure easy entry to the venue, please print your ticket and bring it with you to the event.
If this is not possible, we will have a record of your booking at the venue. Please make your way to the registration table on arrival.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to start time to ensure easy registration and seating.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is some parking available in the carpark under the Greythorn Community Hub or on street parking. Parking limits may apply.
Public transport options include:

Bus routes 207 and 285. The Hub is a short walk from the Greythorn Shopping Centre bus stop at the corner of Doncaster Road and Trentwood Avenue.
Is there an age requirement to enter the event?
The Seniors Festival is designed to cater for adults 65 years and over, however guests of any age are welcome to accompany you.
