The BMX Australia National Championships will be held over six days at the Bunbury BMX Club, Western Australia in 2018. From March 19-25 Australia’s top riders will descend on the city of Bunbury, located 180km south of Perth.

It will be the first of two events to be held in WA, with BMX Australia formalising a partnership with the WA State Government to host the national titles in both 2018 and 2021.

Next year’s event sees both the state government, through Tourism WA, and the City of Bunbury partner with the event. It will be the first time that the national titles have been held in WA since 2009.

KEY RIDER INFORMATION

The 2018 BMX Australia National Championships will be held from March 19-25, 2018 at the Bunbury BMX Club.

In total, there will be 63 classes of racing offered across the week. It is expected that more than 2,000 interstate competitors and supporters will attend, with rider ages ranging from five-year-old’s to 30+ Masters, elite riders and cruiser shredders.

To enter the national championships, a rider must simply hold a valid open or Sprocket BMXA licence. This ensures an inclusive approach to participation at Australia’s largest BMX event.
