"Building the Next Generation of Diverse Arkansas Communities"
The Arkansas Fair Housing Commission will host its annual 2018 Fair Housing/Fair Lending Conference, “Building the Next Generation of Diverse Arkansas Communities,” April 2-5, 2018, at the Marriott in Little Rock, AR. This conference constitutes Arkansas' single largest fair housing educational outreach program and will feature local, state and national housing, lending and development professionals to provide a braod range of fair housing and fair lending information to help ensure open and equitable access to housing statewide.
Conference Week Highlights:
April 2, 2018 - Ron Robinson Theatre
The Commission will host a viewing of "Hidden Figures," a film about the incredible untold story of three brilliant African American scientists, Katherine G. Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan and Mary Jacksonillian, who were instrumental in the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit.
April 3, 2018 - Historical Civil Rights Bus Tour and Opening Session
The Commission will host a guided bus tour around the historical sites in Little Rock that morning and host the Opening Sesssion at Mosaic Templars Cultual Center that evening.
April 4-5, 2018 - General Session
The conference will feature notable fair housing and fair lending praciticioners and those in the local, state and national housing sectors.
April 4, 2018 - Morning Keynote Speaker: The Honorable Asa Hutchinson, Arkansas Governor
April 4, 2018 - Keynote Luncheon Speaker: Catherine E. Lhamon, Chair, U.S. Commission on Civil Rights
April 5, 2018 - Keynote Luncheon Speaker: Anna Maria Farias, HUD FHEO Assistant Secretary

It would be helpful for you to bring your printed ticket to the registration table at the event.
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Your ticket is not transferrable so please make sure to register each person for the events desired.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
Your printed ticket should list the name of the person attending the event
What is the cost for attendance?
There is no cost to attend the events; However, a nominal $25 fee will be charged if you would like professional development credits for the workshops.
