Fibre East is the most fabulous fibre and yarn extravaganza in the East of England. Exhibitors from all over the United Kingdom will be coming together to demonstrate and sell their wares. If you are interested in fibre crafts this is the place for you! Weaving, Spinning, Crochet, Knitting, Felting - if you can do it with fibre you will find something to interest you at Fibre East.
Try your hand at drop spindling or spinning - our exhibitors are happy to let you try before you buy. Fancy a go at weaving? We have everything on offer for the absolute beginner or the experienced weaver. Knit? Oh boy! You'll be spoilt for choice! Crochet? Ditto - so much yummy yarn to choose from. Much of it unique one of a kind.
Fondle all the luscious hand dyed yarn on offer and top up your stash. Pattern kits, yarn, project bags, stitch markers, needles, hooks and accessories, fibre tops, fleeces, spinning wheels, spindles, looms you name it, we probably have it!
FAQs
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
We are just off Junction 12 of the M1 Northbound and Junction 13 Southbound. Approximately 5 miles down the road. Pop the postcode in your satnav for directions. We have ample free parking and an area for disabled visitors to park too. The event is well signposted when you get near.
There is a mainline railway station in Flitwick, the next town. Trains come direct from St. Pancras into Flitwick and we are an approximate 45 minutes walk from the station or a 5 minute taxi ride. Lots of taxi's outside the station so you won't have a wait. From the North there is a direct line in from Leicester, Nottingham and Sheffield depending on the train times. Regular bus service from Bedford and surrounding area - check timetables. The number 42 is usually very reliable.
What can I bring into the event?
We have a fabulous catering tent selling all manner of delicious goodies including vegetarian and vegan options (please do ask the staff about these). However, you are welcome to bring your own food and drink with you and enjoy the lovely grounds. We have plenty of seating for you to take the weight off and enjoy your lunch ready for a second bout of shopping ;)
PLEASE NO ALCOHOL.
Weather depending you may also wish to bring a brollie as there is a (very) short walk between marquees and inside areas.

What's the refund policy?
No refunds will be offered at any time.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Either a copy of your printed ticket or the barcode on your 'phone as we need to scan you in. If you have no barcode we have no way of identifying you and you will have to pay again.
Please note! A barcode will only scan once and we will then get a message telling us it has already been used. This is to avoid the risk of fraud and people trying to use multiple photocopies - you have been warned!
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
Yes as long as they have the barcode in either paper form or on their 'phone. This can be used by anyone - BUT ONLY ONCE!
