When and where is Dogs Trustival?

Dogs Trustival takes place on Sunday, 18th of August from 12pm to 5pm at the Dogs Trust Rehoming Centre, Ashbourne Road, Finglas.

Do I have to buy a car parking ticket online?

Yes. There is limited parking available so you must purchase a car park ticket on Event Brite. Car parking tickets cost €5.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes. So long as he/she must be well socialised, comfortable with other dogs, children and familiar with large crowds of people. All dogs are required to have a valid 'Doggie Ticket' which are free of charge and available on Event Brite. There will be designated activity areas to let your dogs have fun and explore too! Dog owners will need to stay with their dogs at all times and adhere to The Control of Dogs Acts 1986 and 1992 legislation.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The 103 Dublin Bus route will drop you directly outside the venue.
There is limited parking available so you must purchase a car park ticket on Event Brite. 

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

All guests are required to present a valid ticket to gain entry to the event. Tickets can be printed or shown on a mobile device. All tickets will be scanned upon entry. 

Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event?

No. This is a family-friendly and dog-friendly event, all ages are welcome. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Will there be food available?

Food and drink will be available for purchase at the event. Designated hydration stations for dogs will also be available.

Is there an ATM on-site?

No. There won't be any access to cashpoint within the venue.

What is the best way to get there?

We are located 2 minutes drive from Exit 5, off the M50 on the Ashbourne Road.

Directions from M50
Take exit 5 off the M50 onto the N2 (signposted for Ashbourne). On the left-hand side, you will see a garden centre called 'Beech Vista Nursery Garden Centre'. At this point get into the left slip road to take the exit signposted 'Coldwinters'. Dogs Trust is just at the end of that road.

Are there any shaded areas in cases of extreme weather?

The event space is outdoor and will take place rain or shine. Please ensure to bring appropriate provisions for all weather (sun cream, rain jacket, welly boots etc.)
There are tented areas for dogs and their owners to rest and take cover in case of extreme hot or wet weather. You will also have access to Dogs Trust state of the art rehoming facility.

Can I buy a ticket on the day?

Yes. A limited number of tickets will be available for purchase on the day. In the case of a sell-out event, tickets will not be available for purchase at the door. We suggest you buy early online to avoid disappointment.

What should I bring?

You suggest you bring all the essentials for a great day outside. Waterproof clothing, sun cream, bottled water etc.

Can I sponsor a dog on the day?

Of course, you can! This is a celebration of Dogs Trust but is also a great opportunity to help as many dogs as possible.

Where does my donation go?

100% of the ticket price goes to Dogs Trust Ireland. Please note, tickets are inclusive of VAT but exclusive of the booking fee. The booking fee goes to Event Brite. You can also donate to Dogs Trust through Eventbrite.
