Vintage Illinois is the largest wine festival held in Illinois, featuring wine tastings from over 25 Illinois wineries. The event is located in a flat grassy area at beautiful Matthiessen State Park in Utica, IL.

- Advance Ticket Purchasers can enter the gate one hour earlier than those who purchase tickets on the day of the event. The early entrance time is for participants to get checked in, find a spot, and set up their chairs; wineries will begin pouring wine at the festival start time (11 am on Saturday and noon on Sunday).
TICKETS
Wine Tasting Admission: $25 in advance (plus taxes & fees). Admission includes a souvenir glass, wristband, and 7 tasting tickets. Entry at the event is $35 and includes 5 tasting tickets. Additional wine tasting tickets can be purchased at the festival for $1 each. (cash only at the door; ATM machine will be available at the festival)
Designated Driver/Under-21 Admission: $10 in advance (plus taxes & fees). Admission includes 3 tickets for non-alcoholic beverages. Entry at the event is $20 and includes 2 non-alcoholic drink tickets. (cash only at the door; ATM machine will be available at the festival) Admission ticket is required for children who are 5 and up.
Please note that tickets are non-refundable. Advance ticket sales close at midnight on Wednesday, September 18.

FAQs
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
All guests should be prepared with photo identification showing proof of age.
Can children attend?
While children are allowed into the festival area, this is an adult event, and no family activities are planned. Parents may wish to make alternative arrangements for their children’s care during the event. All children 5-years old and older need to pay admission fee ($10 in advance or $15 at the door).
Can I attend both days?
Yes! Tickets are good for either day, Saturday and/or Sunday. If you attend on Saturday, you can return Sunday with your wristband and glass and purchase more tasting tickets. You must have both glass and wristband to sample.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
The festival has a very limited number of picnic tables available for patrons so we encourage you to bring blankets and/or lawn chairs to guarantee your seat. Other items, such as portable shelters and tables are allowed as long as their is room.
While there will be plenty of great foods and beverages available for sale at the festival, you may bring food into the festival to enjoy. However, grilling is only allowed in the parking lot. Outside alcoholic beverages are not allowed. All coolers will be checked for alcohol by security prior to entering the festival grounds.
Can I bring my dog?
Although pets are allowed in the state park, the festival area can become quite crowded and is really not the best atmosphere for your dog. If you do bring your dog, make sure it is always leashed, do not leave it unattended, and please, please clean up after your dog. Also, please do not bring your dog if it does not get along with other dogs.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
There are two ways for quick entry into the festival. One is to bring your printed ticket. The other way is to download the Eventbrite app on your phone (www.eventbrite.com/eventbriteapp); when you get to the event, pull up the event on your phone and show us your bar code and you are in!
Is their a rain date?
The event will happen, rain or shine. There is no rain date.
