To celebrate the strong ties between France and Harvard University and foster exchanges between different institutions and high-level researchers, the Consulate of France in Boston is creating an annual ‘Day of France’ in close partnership with Harvard’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences and the Center for European studies.
Join us on Thursday September 26, 2019 for its first edition, which will include roundtable discussions and conferences with French professors of leading institutions (Science Po, Université Paris Sciences & Lettres) organized on defining issues in today’s world: scientific revolutions, inequality, information and liberal democracy.
There will also be a celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the Arthur Sachs Scholarship Fund at Harvard.
The event will end with a concert at Memorial Church for Notre Dame Cathedral of Paris by the Boston Camerata Ensemble and the Chorale Fellows interpreting 12th century music created at Notre Dame Cathedral of Paris.
Please verify the location of each session as they will be held in two different locations (Harvard Memorial Church & the Minda de Gunzburg Center for European studies).
Thank you to Harvard University for hosting this event and to our generous sponsors for making this event possible.
