Breaking Bands Festival takes place over the Whitsun bank holiday weekend every year within the wonderful backdrop of the Worcestershire hills in Bromsgrove.
Conveniently located close to M5, M6 and the M42 motorways with great bus, coach and train links makes its the ideal place for a weekend of camping and music. With plenty of cheap hotels right on the doorstep for those who want a more comfortable bed and now introducing affordable glamping with easy payment options.
Taking notes from the past 20 years of attending festivals and events, the organisers have put a year of planning into the good, the bad and the ugly to come up with a festival they would pay to go to themselves.
The slogan of the festival is Discover Your New Favourite Band and that is what thebbfest is all about. Promoting new bands, bands that people may never have seen, bands that are making their festival debuts as well as a few of peoples favourites.
The festival was nominated and shortlisted for Best New Festival (2015), Best Small Festival (2016) and Best Festival for Emerging Talent (2016) at the UK Festival Awards. Also recently winners of Best Festival and Best Stage Crew with Obscene Chaos Zine.
Each of the first 3 years, the festival has sold out well in advance so grab tickets early to avoid disappointment.
