genKC Roundtable Series: Breaking Barriers will feature twelve dynamic female leaders from across the Kansas City community in different industries and career paths. At the event, these highly accomplished and influential women will share their experience and expertise and provide insight about how young professionals can lay the groundwork for a successful future. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in open dialogue with at least three leaders in a small group setting, as well as network with all table leaders and other likeminded young professionals before and after the event. All young professionals are encouraged to attend to gain insightful advice, network, and raise their awareness of unique issues faced by half of our population.
How it works: Each community leader will head up her own table. Young professionals will sit at a table that interests them, and the small group at each table will have the chance to ask leaders questions, start discussions and seek professional development and career advice. The tables will then rotate so young professionals have the chance to connect with other leaders at the event. Coffee, juice, and light breakfast items will be provided.
