UPDATE Hi everyone, Just a quick update for our meeting. As I wasn’t in the last meeting, the members that attended the meeting decided to read the book 'The Days of Abandonment' - Elena Ferrante for January. I’m sorry for the misunderstood, I didn’t know that as well. Thank you guys for carefully choosing a book, though. So we’ll stick to their plan and we’ll be discussing this book for the meeting on the 20th. If anyone started reading ‘The refugees’, that’s ok too, we can discuss both of them. Looking forward to seeing you and catching up for one more book club meeting. Lígia Hi guys, I had to change our meeting day so we have time enough to read the book before it happens.I’m sorry I’m only posting the book now, but I had my family visiting from Brazil and my schedule got pretty tight.Anyway, the book we’ll be reading for the meeting happening on the 20th of January will be The Refugees by Viet Thanh Nguyen.
