The benefits of creating communities that support persons of all ages and abilities are many. Walkable communities with sidewalks and vital services near housing decrease the need for formal transportation services. They also keep us healthier, promoting physical activity and social interaction while enabling easy access to food and healthcare.
This free half-day summit will showcase local solutions to increase affordable housing and transportation options for all ages, abilities, and incomes. Thought leaders will frame the issue and local speakers will showcase solutions taking place in the Atlanta region. Information will also be provided on innovative ways to engage others in supporting and enacting change.
