Hope + Me: Mood Disorders Association of Ontario and St. Michael's Hospital STAR Learning Centre invite you to come Laugh Your Head Off at the Laughing Like Crazy Showcase.
The Laughing Like Crazy (LLC) program is an intensive 16 week group that teaches participants how to develop a stand-up comedy routine based on their experiences of mental health issues and the mental health system. Each meeting combines mutual support and group building with learning how to write, hone and deliver a stand-up routine. The culmination of the program is a public showcase performance where participants perform stand-up comedy for the very first time.
Laughing Like Crazy finds humour in some of life's most challenging experiences like diagnosis, suicide attempts, hospitalization, and dating. By laughing about our difficulties, we can rise above them.
Come celebrate participant's completion of this program by attending our comedy showcase! Tickets are free, however, donations are always welcome and appreciated.
