Please join us for the Sixth Annual Marion County Conference on Re-entry. This will be another energizing and engaging day filled with learning, resource sharing, networking, and collaboration. This conference is for all levels of staff working in re-entry or with current or formerly incarcerated individuals.
At the start of the conference, all attendees will have the opportunity to hear about the work of the Marion County Re-entry Coalition and re-entry related policy issues. Attendees will then hear from local content experts and individuals with lived experiences in large group breakout sessions.
The sessions this year will focus on building skills and providing resources that are applicable in re-entry work. Three capacity-building breakout sessions will be offered which will include content experts sharing information in each of the following topic areas:
- Special Populations
- Housing
- Health/Medical
- Employment
- Policy/Advocacy
For planning purposes, you will be asked to select which breakout session you would like to attend. The three breakout sessions you select during registration will be the ones you attend during the conference (contingent upon available seating).
Registration is free, but limited to the first 400 people. A complimentary lunch and light breakfast will be provided to attendees. Please cancel your registration if your plans change and you can no longer attend, so that your spot will be available for those on our waitlist.
Resource Area: You are invited to contribute print or other materials about your program/agency to the resource area. If you plan to bring materials for the resource area, please contact the event organizer.
All attendees should arrive between 7:45am and 8:15am to check in at registration and enjoy a light breakfast. The opening remarks will begin promptly at 8:30am.
Re-entry is a community-wide issue, and we must work together to ensure that all individuals in Marion County are successfully integrated into the community!
We hope you can make it!
Thank you to our 2019 conference sponsors:
