ALDOUS HARDING is, according to one YouTube commenter, “if Feist was a sleep paralysis demon,” and she’s makin’ her way to the Bottle all the way from New Zealand. After embarking on a 200-date tour last year, she went straight to recording and releasing 'Designer,' an album chock full o’ rich and timeless tunes that will shake ya to your very core. From the bold strokes of opening track "Fixture Picture," there is an overriding sense of an artist confident in their work, with contributions from Huw Evans (H. Hawkline), Stephen Black (Sweet Baboo), drummer Gwion Llewelyn and violinist Clare Mactaggart broadening and complementing HARDING’s rich and timeless songwriting.
TINY RUINS is a band based in Auckland, New Zealand. Conceived in 2009 by songwriter Hollie Fullbrook to describe her solo output, the group now includes Cass Basil on bass, Alex Freer on drums & Tom Healy on electric guitar. Traversing early influences of folk and blues, TINY RUINS’ sound draws on ethereal and grungy soundscapes alike.
