The Fall 2019 CICT Mini-Conference, "Transitions and Transformations" is for graduate students, adjuncts, and early career faculty who are interested in best practices in teaching and learning. This conference will explore how we can best help students transition into academia and transform their lives through higher learning. Our keynote, Sean Michael Morris, will kick off a day full of interactive workshops that will leave you with practical, hands-on teaching strategies and new ways to engage with learners in your classroom.

Sean Michael Morris is currently a Senior Instructor in the Learning Design & Technology program at the University of Colorado at Denver. He is also the Director of Digital Pedagogy Lab, an experiential, exploratory professional development gathering for a global digital pedagogy community; and he is the former director and managing editor for Hybrid Pedagogy, a digital journal of learning, teaching, and technology. He is the co-author of An Urgency of Teachers: the Work of Critical Digital Pedagogy. Sean received his M.A. in English from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
