Do you feel like you need to be Super Woman just to get through the day? Are you weighed down by the burden of silence?
Lean in Leeds are on a mission to lift the lid on the topics that are too hot to handle.
It hasn't escaped our notice that women carry the burden of so many issues that are always hidden away and unspoken. We say, enough - silence no more!
And so the idea of a conference was born (cue the confetti cannon). We'll be providing a platform for the individual stories of women, a safe space to share the many challenges we face and key note speakers who will challenge, debate and myth-bust topics including sexualisation, women in the trenches, parenthood (loss, juggling family life, supportive men and opting out), menopause and pension invisibility.
Our amazing Keynote speakers include:
Kay Crewdson - Awarded a Radio Oscar for her BBC Documentary on Miscarriage
Chloe Watmore - Entrepreneur - conquering traditional male dominated industries
Julie Dennis - Debunking the menopause myths (it's not all bad)
Sarah Keighley - Pensions Gap Expert - helping women live well in retirement
Charlotte Scott - Navigating the patriarchy of the Investment community

We strive to make all our events as accessible as possible and apologise that in this case the venue isn't wheelchair-friendly. Unfortunately, all attendees need to be able to walk up a short flight of stairs to access the main event space.
