Today Indiana’s vibrant literary scene produces new authors and new works in every genre, from inspirational slam poetry to world-shaping sci-fi, from insightful young adult fiction to thought-provoking essays.
To reflect this lively scene and bring it more statewide and national attention, the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana Authors Awards are expanding as well.
To kick off the next phase of the awards, please join us for “Write Now: A Celebration of Indiana Literature” at the Indianapolis Artsgarden on Monday, Oct. 21. There, you’ll learn more about what Indiana Humanities is doing to grow the reach of the Indiana Authors Awards and support the community of Indiana readers and writers. You’ll also have the opportunity to mingle with other Hoosier literary champions at a free, fun party. Light refreshments will be provided.
We at Indiana Humanities are grateful to Glick Philanthropies for inviting us to be the new home of the Indiana Authors Awards and to build on the successful program guided by The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation for the past 10 years.
We look forward to celebrating the program’s growth and Indiana’s dynamic literary landscape with you.
More details to come!
