First thing’s first, use our flight scanner to compare prices from all major airlines and book the cheapest tickets available! Of course, you can arrive earlier than the 23rd November, but please keep in mind that you will then have to book your own accommodation.

Day 1 – Thursday 23rd November – Helsinki

Today, everyone will fly into Helsinki. In the afternoon, you can join a private walking tour with our fun local guide (optional extra) to check out the major attractions such as the Uspenski Cathedral, the Helsinki Cathedral, the Suomenlima or admire the island Seurasaari in the middle of the Finnish capital. In Helsinki, there are also many museums and galleries that are well worth a visit!

At around 6pm, we will all meet at a local Finnish restaurant, have dinner together and get to know each other. Afterwards, we will board the private coach at approx. 11pm. Then, it’s time to sit back and relax while we make our way to Lapland.

Day 2 – Friday 24th November – Santa Claus Village

In the morning at 10am, we will arrive in the Santa Claus Village in Rovanimi where you will have the chance to take pictures with the great man himself in the Santa Claus Office. We will also visit the Main Post Office to send Santa Claus-stamped greetings, cross the magical Artic circle, and buy some souvenirs and have a bite to eat. Duration 3.5 hours.
In the afternoon, we will make our way to our Levi, check-in to our Alpine style houses. Located in the centre of Levi, you will have access to free internet and a sauna!

Day 3 –  Saturday 25th November – Husky Safari and Reindeer Safari

If the morning, we will travel to Ounaskievari where we will visit the Reindeer Farm. You will follow in the footsteps of the Sami people and travel on a reindeer pulled sleigh! This is for sure the most traditional and peaceful way to move through the silent Lappish nature! The trail goes partly through the forest. You will also have an opportunity to feed the reindeer, hear stories and of course take plenty of photos. Afterwards, we return back to the house to enjoy a warming hot drink.

In the afternoon, we will travel to Köngäs and go on a Husky Safari (optional extra) where you have the chance to be a musher in control of your own team of dogs. Experience the excitement of the dogs as they pull you at a speedy pace through the breathtaking Lappish scenery.  After the safari, you will enjoy a warm snack and tea inside Laplander’s hut.

Day 4 – Sunday 26th November – Snowboarding/Downhill Skiing/

Spend your day either snowboarding or downhill skiing at Finland’s biggest ski resort! There are many of blue pistes for beginners, red ones for intermediates and black pistes for the experts. Freeskiers can enjoy the Lappish style Snowpark and Street.

Day 5 – Monday 27th November – Snowmobile Safari

In the morning, we will take you on a snowmobile safari, which is a perfect way to get to know the Arctic wilderness! We will drive to Sammuntupa or Levin Lapinkylä – both of them cosy, old-fashioned reindeer farms. At the farmyard, you’ll meet the resident reindeers, enjoy a hot drink and snack before making our way back. Total distance about 30 kilometres. The activity lasts approx. 2 hours. Snowmobile drivers must hold a valid international driving license.  

Day 6 – Tuesday 28th November – Helsinki

Overnight we will make our way back to Helsinki. We will first drop people off at the airport at approx. 9am and then continue to the central train station where will arrive at approx. 10am

While sightings are never guaranteed, the Northern Lights appear about 200 times a year, so there is a good chance of spotting them during winter and from any point in Lapland
