UC Berkeley Tech Integrity Awards
Nomination Deadline: Feb. 15, 2024 at 11:59 pm PT
The Tech Integrity Awards recognize individuals and organizations who embody, encourage, and promote responsible tech innovation and policy. Awards will be announced at the inaugural UC Berkeley Tech Policy Summit on March 7, 2024. Awardees need not be present to win.
Awards will be given to honor achievements and contributions in the following five categories:
ACADEMIC RESEARCH |Groundbreaking research, education, and/or thought leadership in tech policy
CIVIL SOCIETY | Non-governmental organizations, activists, or social entrepreneurs working to ensure responsible innovation and accountability
GOVERNMENT | Public sector entities or individuals working in an official capacity to shape responsible tech policy
INDUSTRY | Companies or individuals in the tech industry leading on responsible technology development and governance
JOURNALISM | Individual journalists and media organizations that effectively inform, cover, and scrutinize tech policy issues
